Hi my name is Elina !

Hi, I'm Elina!

I'm a 17-year-old  Senior at the Hun School of Princeton in NJ. When I'm not playing field hockey, golf or leading my rock climbing team, you'll find me diving into history books or engaging in community service. I'm part of several leadership programs and clubs, including the Young Women's Leadership Cohort and the National Honor Society, among others. I've also hosted Gender Equity Matters Summits and participated in the MLK Leadership Summit, created a Hidden Disaibility Summit, and spoken at the Apraxia Kids National Confrence.

As I step into my senior year, I'll continue my role as a Peer Leader and serve on the  Disciplinary Council at Hun. I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be giving a TED talk in  December 2023.

Originally adopted from Khabarovsk, Russia, I'm passionate about helping others through Young Able Voices and can't wait to connect with new friends along the journey. Life has taught me that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones to something greater. I believe in the power of resilience, the beauty of diversity, and the endless possibilities that come from genuine connections. Let's inspire and uplift each other, one voice at a time.
